Layer Formation Studies in Selective Laser Melting of Steel Powders [PDF]
This paper advances the findings of the selective laser melting (SLM) of tool steel and stainless steel powders. The distinguishing feature is the melting of single layers in deep powder beds by a continuous CO2 laser.

This study explores aerosol jet‐printed (AJP) surface roughness, its effects on the performance of microwave electronics, and its process contributors. First, an electromagnetic model is vetted for AJP's unique roughness signature. Simulations are built which show process‐induced roughness is as significant as conductor resistivity in driving microwave

Development of Aluminum Scandium Alloys for Hydrogen Storage Valves
Different aluminum alloy series and various aluminum‐scandium alloys with differing Sc and Zr levels are evaluated for use in hydrogen storage valve production. The alloys undergo hardness testing, optical microscopy, and tensile strength analysis, with hardening behavior studied under varying conditions.

Improvement on Selective Laser Sintering and Post-Processing of Polystyrene [PDF]
Amorphous polymers are heavily utilized materials in selective laser sintering (SLS) due to their good dimensional accuracy. However, sintered parts of amorphous polymers cannot be used as functional parts owing to their poor forming performance, including their low relative densities and tensile strength.
