Ionic Precursors Transformed Into Vinyl Acetate Synthesis Catalyst via Reaction‐Driven Restructuring

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates that a simple physical mixture of Pd and Au ionic precursors, KOAc promoter, and SiO2 support can transform into a highly active vinyl acetate synthesis catalyst through reaction‐driven restructuring. The results highlight reaction‐induced restructuring as an innovative and sustainable catalyst design strategy.

Selective Leaching of LiFePO4 by H2SO4 in the Presence of NaClO3

open access: yesRevista de Chimie, 2020
Herein, problems commonly observed for the wet leaching of waste LiFePO4 cathode materials, namely extensive Fe leaching and impurity removal, are mitigated through the use of NaClO3, and the effects of leaching parameters on Fe, P, Li, and Al leaching efficiencies are probed. As a result, optimal leaching conditions are determined as temperature = 90
