Selective Copper Recovery with HCl Leaching from Copper Oxalate Material

open access: yes, 2020
In this study, recovery of copper from solid material (obtained by leaching of chalcopyrite with oxalic acid in the presence of hydrogen peroxide) with a copper oxalate structure was carried out selectively using HCl.

Image3_Utilization of amino acid for selective leaching of critical metals from spent hydrodesulfurization catalyst.tif

open access: yes, 2022
While spent catalysts can cause serious environmental pollution, they can be considered an essential secondary metal source due to their high critical metal grades.

Electrochemical Behavior of Flame‐Sprayed Sc‐Doped AlCoCrFeMo High‐Entropy Alloy Coatings in 3.5% Sodium Chloride Solution

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Scandium (Sc)‐doped AlCoCrFeMo HEA coatings are fabricated via flame spraying with 0.1, 0.3, and 0.5 wt% Sc additions. Among these, the HEA‐Sc0.3 coating exhibits the highest corrosion resistance, indicated by a more positive corrosion potential and lower current density.
