A long‐lived, five‐cell‐type human neurovascular (PENTA) model recreates vascular disorganization and incomplete repair after traumatic brain injury (TBI). By integrating endothelial, glial, neuronal, and immune components within a 3D scaffold, the platform enables time‐resolved analysis of neurovascular remodeling and provides a human‐relevant system ...

Surface‐host dialogue at the implant interface governs biological fate and osseointegration. Surface physicochemical properties of titanium (Ti) dental implants, including microgrooves, nanopatterns, nanotopography, roughness, and wettability, modulate the initial adsorption of proteins and the formation of a dynamic biointerface.

Selective reductive leaching of an oxidised cobalt hydroxide containing residue
Nickel was selectively leached from an industrial nickel-cobalt Mixed Hydroxide Precipitate (MHP) under mildly acidic, strongly oxidizing conditions. The resulting cobalt rich residues contained 14-21 wt.% Ni, 3-7 wt.% Co and 3-9 wt.% Mn.

Selective Leaching of Arsenic from Copper Concentrates in Hypochlorite Medium
The selective leaching of arsenic using sodium hypochlorite was evaluated in order to reduce its concentration in a copper concentrate. The best conditions achieved in the synthetic concentrate were applied to the industrial concentrate.

This review examines how cellular behavior is regulated by mechanical cues transmitted through soft biomaterials, from single‐cell mechanosensing to tissue‐level adaptation. It highlights why physiological relevance, rather than model complexity alone, is critical for translational mechanobiology and introduces a scoring framework linking material ...
