Journal of Chemical Ecology, 2004
Twenty-five 9,10-dihydrophenanthrenes, four phenanthrenes, a dihydrodibenzoxepin, and a pyrene, isolated from the wetland plant Juncus acutus, were tested to detect their effects on the green alga Selenastrum capricornutum. Nine of the compounds were isolated and identified for the first time.
