New high temperature self-bonding magnet wire
Proceedings: Electrical Insulation Conference and Electrical Manufacturing and Coil Winding Conference (Cat. No.99CH37035), 2003A new high temperature, self-bonding magnet wire has been developed, with greatly improved bond strength retention at temperatures in excess of 180/spl deg/C. This new development is the first self-bonding magnet wire to be suitable for use in armatures, rotors and high temperature applications.

Self-bonded Al, B-ZSM-5 pellets
2002Synthesis of self-bonded ZSM-5 pellets is carried out using Li salts containing gels of composition: xLi2O-(y+z)Na2O-yAl2O3-zB2O3-30TPABr-150 SiO2-480 H2O where z=18,36; 5≤y≤15; 2.25≤x≤13.5 and TPA-tetrapropylammonium.The formation of the crystals, together with a gel like phase, is shown to be responsible for hardening of the pellets.

Self-Bonded Zeolite Beta/MCM-41 Composite Spheres
Journal of Porous Materials, 2005Self-bonded zeolite Beta/MCM-41 composite spheres were prepared using a two-step synthesis procedure. In the first step, mesoporous zeolite Beta spheres were obtained using anion exchange resin as macrotemplate. In the second step, the MCM-41 or Al-MCM-41 was grown both on sphere surfaces and in the pore structure of the pre-formed zeolite Beta spheres.

Preparation and Properties of Self-Bonded Silicon Carbide
Transactions of the Indian Ceramic Society, 1989The preparation and properties of self-bonded silicon carbide (SBSC) are presented. The properties include Young's modulus (E), bulk modulus (μ), rigidity modulus (K), Poisson's ratio (σ) and electrical resistivity (ρ). E, μ and K for SBSC rods pressed at 76 MN.m−2 were found to be 0.329, 0.422 and 0.122 GN.m−2 respectively and ρ for the above rods ...

New self-bonding wire for deflection yoke coil
Proceedings of the 19th Electrical Electronics Insulation Conference, 2003The deflection yoke (DY) coil, which is used in the CRT (cathode ray tube), has to be manufactured exactly as designed for CRT screen accuracy. In the production of the coil, conventional self-bonding wire was coated with polyamide resin because of its good bondability.
