Frontiers of Bright CEP‐Stable Broadband Infrared Sources
Bright CEP‐stable broadband infrared sources push the limits of ultrafast science by delivering exceptional brightness alongside few‐cycle durations and multi‐octave spectral coverage. This review highlights emerging architectures and nonlinear conversion strategies that scale power while preserving phase stability.

Shear friction of reinforced self-compacting concrete members
Aggregate interlock along inclined cracks is one of the basic mechanisms which contributes to the shear resistance of reinforced concrete members. In self-compacting-concrete (SCC) the amount of coarse aggregates is lower than in conventional vibrated ...

ABSTRACT Lightweight aggregate concrete (LWAC) offers clear advantages for sustainable construction, including reduced density and improved thermal insulation. However, its mechanical and fracture behavior is difficult to characterize due to the heterogeneity and brittle crushing of porous lightweight aggregates.

Abstract Electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) has been shown to be effective for surveying and monitoring dams, due to the method's sensitivity to moisture content and relevant physical properties (e.g., porosity). Automated ERT systems, capable of time‐lapse monitoring, can be used to detect variations in ground conditions.
