Is it possible for neural responses to others' rewards to be as strong as those for the self? Although prior fMRI studies have demonstrated that watching others get rewards can activate one's own reward centers, such vicarious reward activation has always been less strong than responses to rewards for oneself.

The goal of this study was to exam- ine the effect of self-construal activation on the relationship between transactive memory and group performance. We did this by administering a self-construal (independent or interdepen- dent) priming task to participants divided into 32 same-sex triads, which were then asked to perform an assembly task.

Bicultural Minds: A Cultural Priming Approach to the Self-Bias Effect
Recent research has discovered a robust bias towards the processing of self-relevant information in perceptual matching. Self-associated stimuli are processed faster and more accurately than other-associated stimuli.

Insulator fault feature extraction system of substation equipment based on machine vision
Abstract The artificial intelligence technology and intelligent automation are more and more widely used, the insulators play a supporting and insulating role in the operation of the grid. The use of machine vision inspection technology to detect insulator faults has become an inevitable trend of the times.

Abstract This research aims to study the intelligent wireless sensor to improve the water permeability of permeable asphalt concrete pavement. The water permeability of pavement is extremely important for the traffic environment. This study first briefly introduces the background and significance analysis, and then exemplifies the deployment algorithm ...

Distributed wireless network resource optimisation method based on mobile edge computing
This paper mainly compares the network ranking leader, consumption amount and network signal reception of the three algorithms. The study found that in terms of network sort captain, there are significant differences between the CPLEX algorithm, the CCST algorithm, and edge computing methods. The CCST algorithm and edge computing have little difference

Experimental priming of independent and interdependent activity does not affect culturally variable psychological processes [PDF]
Cultural psychologists have shown that people from Western countries exhibit more independent self-construal and analytic (rule-based) cognition than people from East Asia, who exhibit more interdependent self-construal and holistic (relationship-based ...

Dispositional Self-Construal Modulates the Empathy for Others’ Pain: An ERP Study
Previous studies have shown that temporal self-construal priming can modulate the empathic neural responses to others’ pain. However, little is known about the influences of the dispositional self-construal on empathic neural responses to others’ pain ...

Attachment buffers the physiological impact of social exclusion. [PDF]
Attachment systems facilitate coping with stress, with previous studies demonstrating attachment figures diminishing subjective, behavioral and neural responses to social pain. Yet little is known about the physiological mechanisms governing this benefit
