Modulating Two‐Photon Absorption in a Pyrene‐Based MOF Series: An In‐Depth Investigation of Structure–Property Relationships

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study investigates H4TBAPy‐based metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) ‐ NU‐1000, NU‐901, SrTBAPy, and BaTBAPy ‐ for multiphoton absorption (MPA) performance. It observes topology‐dependent variations in the 2PA cross‐section, with BaTBAPy exhibiting the highest activity.

Selective Benzene Capture by Metal‐Organic Frameworks

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) hold significant potential for capturing benzene from air emissions and hydrocarbon mixtures in liquid phases. This capability stems from their precisely engineered structures, versatile chemistries, and diverse binding interactions.

Biomass Native Structure Into Functional Carbon‐Based Catalysts for Fenton‐Like Reactions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study indicates that eight biomasses with 2D flaky and 1D acicular structures influence surface O types, morphology, defects, N doping, sp2 C, and Co nanoparticles loading in three series of carbon, N‐doped carbon, and cobalt/graphitic carbon. This work identifies how these structural factors impact catalytic pathways, enhancing selective electron

The Levels of Self-Criticism Scale: comparative self-criticism and internalized self-criticism

Personality and Individual Differences, 2004
The Levels of Self-Criticism (LOSC) Scale was designed to measure two dysfunctional forms of negative self-evaluation: Comparative Self-Criticism (CSC) and Internalized Self-Criticism (ISC). An initial pool of 34 items was subjected to reliability and item analyses with 282 participants.

1958 Self-Criticism

Chinese Law & Government, 1998
Over the past few months1 I have locked myself away to think. I have continued to examine myself and have truly become aware of my mistakes. These mistakes are extremely serious whether they are examined from the perspective of their nature or of their degree. Here, I will put them in perspective and divide the most important into the following: first,

Shame and self-criticism

2019
This chapter addresses clinical interventions targeting shame and self-criticism by focusing on how self-compassion can be adopted by people with acquired brain injury (ABI) and their close relatives. ABI survivors are considerably more likely to suffer from depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder, and they are at a higher risk of ...
