Epigenetic reprogramming of lineage switching in cancer

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cancer cells rarely commit to a single identity. Epigenetic mechanisms and tumor microenvironment cues push epithelial cells toward flexible, hybrid states that can shift into mesenchymal, neuroendocrine, or stem‐like fates, driving metastasis, drug resistance, and tumor heterogeneity. Targeting the epigenetic regulators behind these transitions, using

Humidity‐Induced Self‐Oscillating and Self‐Healing Hypercrosslinked Metal–Organic Polyhedra Membranes

open access: yesAdvanced Science
Designing autonomously oscillating materials is highly desirable for emerging smart material fields but challenging. Herein, a type of hypercrosslinked metal–organic polyhedra (HCMOPs) membranes formed by covalent crosslinking of boronic acid‐modified Zr‐

Emerging experimental and computational methods for studying redox‐regulated structural transitions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Redox reactions can reshape proteins and alter how they behave in cells, with important consequences for health and disease. This review explores emerging experimental and computational approaches for discovering these redox‐sensitive protein switches, revealing their structural effects, and predicting their behavior, opening new opportunities to ...

The Influence of Calcium-Based Whisker Self-Healing Agent on Self-Healing of Oil Well Set Cement Cracks in CCUS Wells

open access: yesZuanjingye yu wanjingye
In wells for carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS), cement sheaths are easy to get chemically damaged, hence reducing their service life. A study was conducted to enhance the self-healing capacity of cement sheaths by reacting calcium-based ...

Artificial molecular machines and motors—Design and control of nanoscale motion

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Molecules are constantly moving because of thermal fluctuations, but random motion alone cannot be exploited to perform directional tasks. Artificial molecular machines use chemical, electrical, or light energy to bias this motion. Molecular shuttles, rotary motors, and supramolecular pumps illustrate how nanoscale movement can be controlled and ...

Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.
