Identification of Coefficient of Self Inductance
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2014The self-inductance is the inherent phenomenon in a wire. Through the comparison of two kinds of method for solving the self-inductance, stated that note in the current contribution rate problem in the process by the first method to solve the self-inductance coefficient.

Self-Inductance of a Racetrack Coil
IEEE Transactions on Applied Superconductivity, 2012Superconducting racetrack coils are used for magnetic levitation, magnetic resonance imaging, etc. When using racetrack coils, it is important to determine the coil characteristics (the resistance, self-inductance, mutual inductance, and distributed capacity of the coil).

Self-inductance and magnetic flux
American Journal of Physics, 2023The canonical equation for self-inductance involving magnetic flux is examined, and a more general form is presented that can be applied to continuous current distributions. We attempt to clarify and extend the use of the standard equation by recasting it in its more versatile form.

Time course of carbamazepine self-induction
Journal of Pharmacokinetics and Biopharmaceutics, 1979Carbamazepine concentrations in plasma during repetitive oral dosing were analyzed by means of a nonlinear, variable parameter, regression program (VARPARM) assuming dose-to-dose changes in the apparent elimination rate constant of the drug. There was evidence of significant self-induction of carbamazepine metabolism as early as 1 or 2 days after ...

The Self‐induction of Epileptic Seizures by Eye Closure
Epilepsia, 1980C. E. Darby*Summary: Of 22 consecutive epileptic patients sensitive to intermittent photic stimulation, 7 were found to induce paroxysmal activity and/or seizures by a slow closure of the lids accompanied by eye rolling, which in 6 of the 7 was totally different from the movement normally carried out on voluntary eye closure to command.

Layout techniques for minimizing on-chip interconnect self inductance
Proceedings of the 35th annual conference on Design automation conference - DAC '98, 1998Because magnetic effects have a much longer spatial range than electrostatic effects, an interconnect line with large inductance will be sensitive to distant variations in interconnect topology. This long range sensitivity makes it difficult to balance delays in nets like clock trees, so for such nets inductance must be minimized.

Determination of the self-inductance of a metal ring
Physics Education, 1986The authors determine the self-inductance of a non-ferromagnetic metallic ring (of order 10-8H) to an accuracy of about 10%. The method is based on measuring the phase difference between induced EMF and induced current in the ring when the ring is exposed to an alternating magnetic flux.

Self-inductance of the elliptical loop
Proceedings of the Institution of Electrical Engineers, 1963The paper states briefly how Maxwell's geometric mean distance is used to reduce the self-inductance of a thin conductor to that of a pair of equivalent filaments. It then develops a method for splitting the standard Neumann double integral, used for finding the inductance of such filaments, into two sets of infinite series.

On the Possibility of Self-Induction of Drug Protein Binding
Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, 2010The equilibrium unbound drug fraction (f(u)) is an important pharmacokinetic parameter, which influences drug elimination and distribution in the body. Commonly the drug plasma concentration is substantially less then that of drug binding proteins, so that f(u) can be assumed constant independent of drug concentration.

The self-inductance of a toroidal coil without iron
Electrical Engineering, 1945IF A NON MAGNETIC BAR is bent into the shape of a ring and a single layer of wire is wound around the bar, the self-inductance of the “toroidal coil” formed in this way is given by well-known short expressions.
