Self-inductance coefficient for toroidal thin conductors [PDF]

open access: yesNonlinear Analysis: Theory, Methods & Applications, 2001
We consider the inductance coefficient for a thin toroidal inductor whose thickness depends on a small parameter " > 0. An explicit form of the singular part of the corresponding potential u " is given. This allows to construct the limit potential u (as " → 0) and an approximation of the inductance coefficientL " .

Self-Inductance Calculation of the Archimedean Spiral Coil

open access: yesEnergies, 2021
In this paper, a new method to calculate the self-inductance of the Archimedean spiral coil is presented. The proposed method is derived by solving Neumann’s integral formula, and the numerical tool is used to calculate the inductance value.

Direct demonstration of circulating currents in a controllable $\pi$-SQUID generated by a 0 to $\pi$ transition of the weak links [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
A controllable $\pi$-SQUID is a DC SQUID with two controllable $\pi$-junctions as weak links. A controllable $\pi$-junction consists of a superconducting - normal metal - superconducting Josephson junction with two additional contacts to the normal ...

A Control Parameters Self-Adjusting Method for photovoltaic inverter considering the variation of inductance

open access: yesEnergy Reports, 2023
The variation of inductance is the reason for the instability of photovoltaic (PV) inverter system. To this end, a control parameters self-adjusting method considering the variation of inductance is proposed to enhance the anti-interference ability.

Determination of Stray Inductance of Low-Inductive Laminated Planar Multiport Busbars Using Vector Synthesis Method [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
Laminated busbars connect capacitors with switching power modules, and they are designed to have low stray inductance to minimize electromagnetic interference. Attempts to accurately measure the stray inductance of these busbars have not been successful.

A Self-Sensing Method for Electromagnetic Actuators with Hysteresis Compensation

open access: yesEnergies, 2021
Self-sensing techniques are a commonly used approach for electromagnetic actuators since they allow the removal of position sensors. Thus, costs, space requirements, and system complexity of actuation systems can be reduced.
