4Pi spectral self-interference microscopy
Journal of the Optical Society of America A, 2007Spectral self-interference microscopy (SSM) relies on the balanced collection of light traveling two different paths from the sample to the detector, one direct and the other indirect from a reflecting substrate. The resulting spectral interference effects allow nanometer-scale axial localization of isolated emitters.

Analysis of Self Interference in a Basic FBMC System
2013 IEEE 78th Vehicular Technology Conference (VTC Fall), 2013Filter bank multicarrier (FBMC) transmission techniques are being studied and developed as alternatives or extensions for family of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) techniques. Comparatively higher spectral efficiency and capability of having a continuous transmission without guard intervals or cyclic prefixes are among the key ...

In full-duplex system, the key research of analog self-interference cancellation are self-interference channel and reconstruction circuit for self-interference suppression. In this paper, we measure the self-interference channel using the vector-based channel response measurement method, and analyze the effects of tap delay, tap interval, tap number ...

Pollination and self-interference in Nothofagus
Flora - Morphology, Distribution, Functional Ecology of Plants, 2013Abstract Interference between male and female functions within a monoecious plant may hinder crossing and decrease seed set. We assessed the probability of self-pollination and the effect of self-pollination on cross-pollination for two self-incompatible species: Nothofagus obliqua and N. nervosa .

Alleviating self-interference in MANETs
29th Annual IEEE International Conference on Local Computer Networks, 2004The interference range in multi-hop ad hoc networks (MANETs) is typically twice as large as the transmission range. This phenomenon causes packets of a multi-hop flow to interfere with each other as they are relayed over the multi-hop route. This interference, an instance of the notorious hidden terminal problem, is caused by simultaneous transmissions

Relay self-interference minimisation for QAM signals
2015 Fourth International Conference on Future Generation Communication Technology (FGCT), 2015This paper introduces a self-interference (SI) minimisation technique for amplify and forward (AF) relays. Relays are used to help forward signals between a source and a destination. The AF relay amplifies the signal it receives then transmits it to the destination.

End-to-End Learned Self-Interference Cancellation
2022 56th Asilomar Conference on Signals, Systems, and Computers, 2022Full-duplex communications systems can transmit and received information at the same time and on the same frequency band. However, they require strong self-interference (SI) cancellation. While a part of this SI cancellation is carried out in the analog domain, in most cases digital SI cancelation is required as well.

A Multichannel Self-Interference Cancellation Prototyping System
2019 IEEE 2nd 5G World Forum (5GWF), 2019This paper presents the design and implementation of a multichannel self-interference cancellation system. The proposed design achieves self-interference cancellation via sequential transmit and receive beamforming. The prototype experiments prove that this system not only can suppress the self-interference to the receiver's noise floor over a wide ...

Self-interference noise limitations of RFID readers
2015 IEEE International Conference on RFID (RFID), 2015In this contribution we compute the read range limits of RFID readers also modelling the often ignored self-interference and leakage cancellation effects. The forward link limit is defined by the sensitivity of the tag, while the reverse link limit depends on the ability of the reader to decode the tag message.
