MR Spectroscopy Without Water Suppression Using the Gradient Impulse Response Function

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose Non‐water‐suppressed proton spectroscopy, 1H‐MRS, is desirable, as retaining the strong water resonance can facilitate automated online data corrections, internal concentration referencing, and monitoring of line narrowing effects in functional MRS.

Interaction Between Vortex‐Induced Vibrations and Base Vibrations in Piezoelectric Harvesters

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mechanical System Dynamics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In the present era, powering sensors using green energy is a significant challenge. One promising solution for the power supply of small sensors relies on piezoelectric energy harvesters excited by vortex‐induced vibrations (VIVs) generated by wind.

Rethinking Public Administration Reform: Institutional Layering of Bureaucratic, Managerial and Community Logics Over Time in Nigeria's Tax Administration

open access: yesPublic Administration and Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The reform of public institutions has attracted sustained attention in both scholarship and policymaking. Increasingly, however, there is growing recognition that reforms are rarely implemented in an institutional vacuum. Instead, new reforms are layered onto existing arrangements, producing hybrid institutional landscapes shaped by prior ...

Isolation, Insularity and Resilience: A Review of the Geophysical, Socioeconomic, and Environmental Vulnerabilities of Gran Canaria and Lesvos Islands for Policy Interventions to Global Change

open access: yesSustainable Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The dynamic nature of small islands being geographically isolated and their perceived connectedness with global networks complicates research attempts to draw general conclusions on whether insularity leads to marginalization or strengthens their resilience for sustainable development.

Reframing FDI Motivations Through OLIP: Explaining Private Engagement for Sustainable Development in PPPs

open access: yesSustainable Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The drivers of firms' participation in fragile markets have become increasingly complex. Under such conditions, the conventional explanation focusing on incentives within the OLI framework—ownership, location, and internalization advantages—proves insufficient.

Prescriptive Positivism: Discourse on Sustainable Development Goal Interactions and Perspectives for a Post‐2030 World

open access: yesSustainable Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are unlikely to be achieved by 2030, prompting debate about what should follow. Beyond revision, there is a need to critically examine what values and assumptions have shaped how the SDGs are conceptualised and operationalised.

Sampling, Mobility, and Anchoring in Small‐Body Sampling Robots: A Comprehensive Review

open access: yesSmartBot, EarlyView.
Small‐body sampling robots are exploration systems that perform contact, sampling, and stable operations on microgravity bodies such as asteroids and comets. The authors review representative robot architectures and key technologies, focusing on the mechanisms, evolution, and coupling of sampling, mobility, and anchoring.

Wafer‐Scale Deterministic Fabrication of Axis‐Ratio–Engineered Silicon Nanoparticles for On‐Resonance Electric–Magnetic Dipole Interference

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Wafer‐scale top‐down fabrication yields silicon nanoparticles with exceptional uniformity (CV 1.7%–2.4%), enabling deterministic axis‐ratio tuning. At AR ≈$\approx$ 2.1, electric–magnetic dipoles overlap on‐resonance, producing near‐Kerker forward scattering (F/B ≈$\approx$ 12.5).

Autoethnography as a Research Methodology in TESOL

open access: yesTESOL Quarterly, EarlyView.
Abstract In this article, I discuss autoethnography as a qualitative research methodology that has been increasingly adopted by scholars in TESOL in the last decade. My goal is to introduce this methodology to colleagues who are preparing to use autoethnography in their research and I expect that introduction to take them to other resources in the ...

Adaptive Self-Interference Cancellation in Full -Duplex Radio

open access: yes, 2016
Full-duplex transmission is a scheme where the transmitter and the receiver of a transceiver can transmit and receive simultaneously using same carrier frequency. Full-duplex transmission theoretically doubles the spectral efficiency and avoids using the separate frequency bands for transmitted and received signal. Full duplex transmission suffers from
