Self-interference cancellation in full-duplex wireless with IQ imbalance
Physical Communication, 2016To achieve full-duplex wireless communication, the most essential issue is to eliminate in-band self-interference caused by simultaneous transmission and reception. In this paper, we investigate the impact of transmitter IQ imbalance on digital signal processing (DSP)-assisted analog self-interference cancellation, where two transmitters are used for ...

Analysis of utilizing lossless networks for self-interference cancellation purpose
In this paper, novel self-interference cancellation technique is proposed. The technique addresses in particularly the transceivers where dedicated-transmit-and-receive antenna configurations are embraced. The technique, moreover, relies on a lossless decoupling network, which interconnects the transceiver's chains to the antenna elements.

Optimized Sequences for Nonlinearity Estimation and Self-Interference Cancellation
IEEE Transactions on CommunicationsIn wireless communication systems, nonlinearity is the root cause of many undesired effects. In order to compensate these effects, the nonlinearity must be estimated accurately.

Lightweight Digital Self-Interference Cancellation
2024 IEEE/CIC International Conference on Communications in China (ICCC)As has been known, co-frequency co-time full-duplex transmission can double the bandwidth efficiency of half-duplex by overlapping the transmitted and received signals in frequency and time domains. While, for approaching the theoretical gain of doubling

Self-Interference Cancellation: A Comprehensive Review from Circuits and Fields Perspectives
Increased demand for higher spectrum efficiency, especially in the space-limited chip, base station, and vehicle environments, has spawned the development of full-duplex communications, which enable the transmitting and receiving to occur simultaneously ...

2021 IEEE Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits Symposium (RFIC), 2021
Self-interference (SI) mitigation is critical for full-duplex and frequency-domain duplex systems. Canceller noise and linearity limits the SI power that can be tolerated at RX input. A dual-path SI cancellation scheme is presented where the noise and distortion from the canceller are addressed through a differential noise-cancelling path. The proposed

Photonics-Assisted Simultaneous RF Channelization and Self-Interference Cancellation
Journal of Lightwave Technology, 2023Both RF channelization and self-interference cancellation are urgently required for modern in-band full-duplex systems. A photonics-assisted RF receiver for simultaneous wideband channelization and self-interference cancellation is proposed and ...
