Embeddings of Sz(32) in E_8(5) [PDF]
We show that the Suzuki group Sz(32) is a subgroup of E_8(5), and so is its automorphism group. Both are unique up to conjugacy in E_8(F) for any field F of characteristic 5, and the automorphism group Sz(32):5 is maximal in E_8(5)

Character correspondences in solvable groups with a self-normalizing sylow subgroup
Let [Formula: see text] be a finite solvable group and let [Formula: see text] for some prime [Formula: see text]. Whenever [Formula: see text] is odd, Isaacs described a correspondence between irreducible characters of degree not divisible by [Formula: see text] of [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text].

Superatom Distortion Induces Triferroicity and Spin Splitting in Two‐Dimensional Antiferromagnets
The incorporation of superatoms into a 2D square lattice induces symmetry breaking, thereby enabling concurrent coupling among magnetism, ferroelectricity, and ferroelasticity. This strategy achieves triferroic behavior—characterized by spin‐split antiferromagnetic ground states—and offers a viable pathway toward energy‐efficient spintronic devices ...

On grouops with formational subnormal or self-normalizing subgroups
We establish the structure of finite groups with $\mathfrak{F}$-subnormal or self-normalizing primary cyclic subgroups in case $\mathfrak{F}$ is a subgroup-closed saturated superradical formation containing all nilpotent groups.

ABSTRACT Mass cytometry is optimal for acute leukemia immune checkpoint profiling. However, current commercial metal‐chelating polymer (MCP) metal tags limit its sensitivity due to low metal loading capacity. We report a novel synthetic strategy employing antibody‐conjugated gold or platinum nanoparticles (AuNP/PtNP) for high‐dimensional single‐cell ...

Maximal Subgroups of Compact Lie Groups
This report aims at giving a general overview on the classification of the maximal subgroups of compact Lie groups (not necessarily connected). In the first part, it is shown that these fall naturally into three types: (1) those of trivial type, which ...

A novel transcriptional module involving CsYABBY3 and CsAS1 is identified to regulate cannabinoid biosynthesis and trichome development. These factors mutually activate each other and form a protein complex via a conserved residue, acting synergistically to amplify metabolic flux through a coordinate feed‐forward mechanism.

Diatom‐Inspired 1D Immobile Robots Capable of 2D Collective Mobility
This study presents a diatom‐inspired robotic system that explores group coordination through limited physical interactions. The researchers tune groups of Barbots, simple robotic agents that possess neither individual mobility nor explicit communication capabilities, to achieve complex and adaptive collaboration based on environmental light.
