WEAK SELF-SIMILAR SETS IN SEPARABLE COMPLETE METRIC SPACES
Self-similarity is a common tendency in nature and physics. It is wide spread in geo-physical phenomena like diffusion and iteration. Physically, an object is self-similar if it is invariant under a set of scaling transformation.

Spectra of Self-Similar Measures
This paper is devoted to the characterization of spectrum candidates with a new tree structure to be the spectra of a spectral self-similar measure [Formula: see text] generated by the finite integer digit set D and the compression ratio [Formula: see ...

Guiding AlphaFold to predict how Munc13‐1 opens Syntaxin‐1
The syntaxin‐1 Habc‐domain (orange), linker (pink) and SNARE motif (yellow) form a closed conformation that binds to Munc18‐1 (violet) and is opened by the Munc13‐1 MUN domain (cyan) to form the SNARE complex that triggers neurotransmitter release.

Molecular characterization of covRS mutations in M1UK Streptococcus pyogenes
Group A Streptococcus (GAS) acquires covRS mutations driving a hypervirulent bacterial state, frequently associated with invasive disease‐like necrotizing fasciitis. We demonstrate that the newly emerged M1UK GAS lineage can also acquire these mutations.

Classification of LRS Bianchi-I spacetime in context of f(T) gravity via its self-similar symmetry.
This study investigates self-similar vector fields of locally rotationally symmetric Bianchi type-I spacetimes within the framework of f(T) gravity, incorporating a perfect fluid as the matter source.

The cytoskeleton‐mediated transport of mitochondria via tunnelling nanotubes restores respiration, increases ATP production, rescues cells from apoptosis, activates the AKT/mTOR signalling pathway, promotes cell migration and invasiveness, contributes to cancer progression and treatment resistance.

Distribution of unit mass on one fractal self-similar web-type curve
In the article, we study structural, spectral, topological, metric and fractal properties of distribution of complex-valued random variable $\tau=\sum\nolimits_{n=1}^{\infty}\frac{2\varepsilon_{\tau}}{3^n}\equiv\Delta^g_{\tau_1...\tau_n...}$, where ...

Extraction of material parameters in 1-D fractal metamaterial
In this paper, we develop a transfer matrix-based homogenization approach applicable to self-similar fractal structures. With this method, we derive the material parameters of a layered metamaterial comprising two different dielectrics with ...
