Decoding High‐voltage LiCoO2: From Degradation to Stabilization Toward Durable Li‐ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review systematically addresses the degradation mechanisms and stabilization strategies for high‐voltage LiCoO2 cathodes. Key enhancement approaches including foreign‐ion doping, surface modifications, structural design, and electrolyte optimization are critically assessed.

Seismic Blind Deconvolution Based on Self-Supervised Machine Learning

open access: yesApplied Sciences
Seismic deconvolution is a useful tool in seismic data processing. Classical non-machine learning deconvolution methods usually apply quite a few constraints to both wavelet inversion and reflectivity inversion.

Oxygen Evolution Reaction Catalysts for Acidic‐Media CO2 Electrolyzers

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Acidic‐media CO2 electroreduction (CO2R) could decarbonize chemical production, despite relying on rare‐earth elements for anodic oxygen evolution reaction (OER). Transferring the learnings from mature sister technologies (water electrolysis) could accelerate technological development.

Adversarial Self-Supervised Contrastive Learning

open access: yes, 2020
Existing adversarial learning approaches mostly use class labels to generate adversarial samples that lead to incorrect predictions, which are then used to augment the training of the model for improved robustness. While some recent works propose semi-supervised adversarial learning methods that utilize unlabeled data, they still require class labels ...

Two‐Way Shape Memory Polymer Composite Gripper for Adaptive Robotic Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A two‐way shape memory polymer (SMP) composite is developed with intrinsic shape‐changing capability driven solely by temperature, eliminating external actuation loads. Embedding the SMP in a low‐stiffness elastomeric matrix enabled reversible transformations during heating and cooling cycles.

Temporal and spatial self supervised learning methods for electrocardiograms

open access: yesScientific Reports
The limited availability of labeled ECG data restricts the application of supervised deep learning methods in ECG detection. Although existing self-supervised learning approaches have been applied to ECG analysis, they are predominantly image-based ...

Transducers Across Scales and Frequencies: A System‐Level Framework for Multiphysics Integration and Co‐Design

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Transducers convert physical signals into electrical and optical representations, yet each mechanism is bounded by intrinsic trade‐offs across bandwidth, sensitivity, speed, and energy. This review maps transduction mechanisms across physical scale and frequency, showing how heterogeneous integration and multiphysics co‐design transform isolated ...

Chemically Doped Conductive Polymers for Wearable Health Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Among conductive polymers, poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS), polyaniline (PANI), and polypyrrole (PPy) are the most studied and applied. Chemical doping significantly boosts intrinsic conductivity and mechanical robustness.
