A Topological Analysis of Space-Time-Consciousness: Self,Self-Self, Self-Other
This paper attempts to explore a possibility to visualize the structure of time-consciousness in a knot shape. By applying Louis Kauffman’s knot-logic, the consistency of subjective consciousness, the plurality of now’s, and the necessary relationship between subjective and intersubjective consciousness will be represented in topological space.

Homologous expression and purification of human HAX‐1 for structural studies
This research protocol provides detailed instructions for cloning, expressing, and purifying large quantities of the intrinsically disordered human HAX‐1 protein, N‐terminally fused to a cleavable superfolder GFP, from mammalian cells. HAX‐1 is predicted to undergo posttranslational modifications and to interact with membranes, various cellular ...

Day/night variations of myeloid and lymphoid cell subsets in the murine inguinal lymph node
The circadian system is involved in the temporal regulation of the immune system. Our study reveals that two innate immune populations, NKT cells and neutrophils, predominate at the beginning of the day in healthy mice, highlighting how the time of day influences immune responses.

Comparative analysis of chloroplast genomes from 14 genera of Thymelaeaceae revealed variation in gene content, ranging from 128 to 142 genes, primarily influenced by IR expansion/contraction events and pseudogenization of ndhF, ndhI, and ndhG. Two large inversions were detected within the large single‐copy region, including a synapomorphic inversion ...

Analysis of Pt/SnO(sub x) during catalysis of CO oxidation [PDF]
Temperature-programmed reduction using 6kPaH2 suggests that a sample consisting of 3 percent Pt supported directly on SnO2 is, under conditions of catalysis of CO oxidation used here, best represented as 3 percent Pt/SnO sub x, since the support is ...

Given the “struggle for existence” an organism might hope to outshine its competitors by virtue of the excellence of its positive characters (e.g. greater speed, longer neck). But an organism that could also (i) identify, defend against, and attack its foes, and (ii) identify and support its friends, wonld seem to have an even greater advantage.

Exogamy and Bias Against Daughters in Health-care Provision: A Theory and Evidence from Two Northern States in India [PDF]
This is a theoretical and empirical paper to analyze possible bias against daughters in the provision of healthcare. Women once married become part of in-laws’ families, leading to certain inter-family externalities in household decision making, which in
