SCP‐Pose: Leveraging Structural Consistency Prior Knowledge for Real‐Time Category‐Level 6D Pose Estimation

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This paper presents a high‐speed object pose estimation method that deconstructs objects into geometric components. Inspired by human cognitive generalization, it detects these primitives and infers the 6D pose from their stable spatial configuration.

OntoLogX: Ontology‐Guided Knowledge Graph Extraction From Cybersecurity Logs With Large Language Models

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
OntoLogX is an autonomous AI agent that uses large language models to transform unstructured cyber security logs into ontology grounded knowledge graphs. By integrating retrieval augmented generation, iterative correction, and a light‐weight log ontology, OntoLogX produces semantically consistent intelligence that links raw log events to MITRE ATT & CK

Economy of Touch : Task‐Driven Information Selection in Electrical Impedance Tomography‐based Tactile Robotic Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Electrical impedance tomography (EIT) tactile skins enable multiplexed measurements that trade sensing speed against information richness. This work introduces an economy‐of‐touch framework that treats tactile sensing as an information‐budgeting problem.

Gate‐Align‐SED: Semi‐Supervised Sound Event Detection via Adaptive Feature Gating and Cross‐Task Alignment in Situation Awareness

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Overview of the proposed Gate‐Align‐SED, including two stages of training: (1) Mean‐Teacher SSL Training; and (2) Enhancer Model Training. In complex real‐world environments such as disaster monitoring, effective sound event detection (SED) is often hindered by the presence of noise and limited labeled data.

VALIANT: A Vision‐Authenticity Language Framework Through Integrated Experts and Aligned Numerical‐Textual Descriptors for Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Visual features, numerical descriptors, and controlled textual attributes extracted from smartphone images of Chenpi are integrated by VALIANT, a tailored multimodal framework for simultaneous storage‐age classification and authenticity verification. The workflow distinguishes genuine products from suspicious standard operating procedure mimics while ...

Intertextual semantics: A semantics for information design

Journal of the American Society for Information Science and Technology, 2009
AbstractIn most discussions about information and knowledge management, natural language is described as too fuzzy, ambiguous, and changing to serve as a basis for the development of large‐scale tools and systems. Instead, artificial formal languages are developed and used to represent, hopefully in an unambiguous and precise way, the information or ...

Semantic information portals

Proceedings of the 13th international World Wide Web conference on Alternate track papers & posters - WWW Alt. '04, 2004
In this paper, we describe the notion of a semantic information portal. This is a community information portal that exploits the semantic web standards to improve structure, extensibility, customization and sustainability. We are in the process of developing a prototype directory of environmental organizations as a demonstration of the approach and ...

Information Retrieval and the Semantic Web

Proceedings of the 38th Annual Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences, 2002
Information retrieval technology has been central to the success of the Web. For semantic web documents or annotations to have an impact, they will have to be compatible with Web based indexing and retrieval technology. We discuss some of the underlying problems and issues central to extending information retrieval systems to handle annotations in ...

Semantic information and sensor networks

Proceedings of the 2009 ACM symposium on Applied Computing, 2009
Embedded Networked Sensing involves untethered, networked devices tightly coupled to the physical world, to monitor and interact with it. Raw sensor observation can be annotated with semantic metadata to provide interpretation and context for it.
