Here, some applications of the Semi-analytical (SAFE) formulation presented in a previous paper of this book (Viola et al., 2005) are shown. In order to emphasize the potentiality of the SAFE method presented, guided wave features are calculated for several isotropic waveguides immersed in vacuum.
