Semi-Analytical Solution of Brent Equations

Doklady Mathematics
A parametrization of Brent equations is proposed which admit for a several times reduction of the number of unknowns and equations. The arising equations are solved numerically, and for the resulting fast matrix multiplication algorithms many known values of rank are reproduced and even improved, in particular, the designs (4,4,4;48) and (2,4,5;32) are

SEMI-ANALYTICAL SOLUTIONS FOR THE BRUSSELATOR REACTION–DIFFUSION MODEL

The ANZIAM Journal, 2017
Semi-analytical solutions are derived for the Brusselator system in one- and two-dimensional domains. The Galerkin method is processed to approximate the governing partial differential equations via a system of ordinary differential equations. Both steady-state concentrations and transient solutions are obtained.

Semi - Analytical Solution of Modelled Typhoid Fever Disease

Chettinad Health City Medical Journal, 2022
To analyze the optimal control of the Typhoid fever virus a mathematical modeling was developed by Getachew Teshome Tilahun. We have approached a Homotopy Perturbation Method to solve a linear differential equation. An analytical solution of Susceptible People(S), Infected People (I), Carrier People (C), Recovered People (R), and Bacteria People ( is ...

Semi-analytical solution of consolidation for composite ground

Mechanics Research Communications, 2013
Abstract A number of consolidation solutions of composite ground which ignores the nonlinear character of soft soil and columns have been derived. In this paper, the e−log σ′ and e−log k relationship is used to describe the stress–strain and strain–permeability coefficient relationship of soft soil.

Analyses of Solute Transport Using Streamline Simulation and Semi-analytical Solutions

Energy Sources, Part A: Recovery, Utilization, and Environmental Effects, 2008
Abstract In this article, we present a two-dimentional (2D) solute transport model using streamline simulation and semi-analytical solutions of one-dimensional (1D) transport equation. We validated the accuracy of the developed model by comparing three simulation results of contaminant transport using an analytical, a semi-analytical, and an upwind ...

Constrained Multi-Layer Damping: A Semi-Analytic Solution

48th AIAA/ASME/ASCE/AHS/ASC Structures, Structural Dynamics, and Materials Conference, 2007
A custom finite element is derived to treat the decay of shear stresses through a multi constrained layer viscoela stic damping treatment. The methodology is applied to single and dual damping layers, but may be extended to an arbitrary number of such layers.

Semi-analytical solutions of ordinary differential equations

1993
Summary: We describe a method that allows, in many cases, to solve effectively a wide class of ordinary differential equations describing a mechanical system. The method is based upon the idea of normalization procedure. We present its implementation and some examples of its applications.

Semi-analytic solution of the plane discharge with warm ions

2012 Abstracts IEEE International Conference on Plasma Science, 2012
Summary form only given. The problem of plane collision-free discharge is an old important one, which has been defined and solved with ions born at rest almost one century ago by Tonks and Langmuir [1]. After decades the first attempts to solve this problem also for the case of ions born with a finite temperature resulted in a numerical solution of ...

Semi-analytical solutions for static analysis of piezoelectric laminates

Composite Structures, 2016
Abstract Displacement and stress analysis of an all-round simply supported piezoelectric laminate has been carried out with a new model. Formulation part has been developed using elasticity approach and the methodology is free from any a-priory assumption in thickness direction.
