Cooperative Strategies for Simultaneous and Broadcast Relay Channels [PDF]
Consider the \emph{simultaneous relay channel} (SRC) which consists of a set of relay channels where the source wishes to transmit common and private information to each of the destinations.

Real‐Time 3D Ultrasound Imaging with an Ultra‐Sparse, Low Power Architecture
This article presents a novel, ultra‐sparse ultrasound architecture that paves the way for wearable real‐time 3D imaging. By integrating a unique convolutional array with chirped data acquisition, the system achieves high‐resolution volumetric scans at a fraction of the power and hardware complexity.

Forward Analysis and Model Checking for Trace Bounded WSTS
We investigate a subclass of well-structured transition systems (WSTS), the bounded---in the sense of Ginsburg and Spanier (Trans. AMS 1964)---complete deterministic ones, which we claim provide an adequate basis for the study of forward analyses as ...

Simple, Fast and Accurate Implementation of the Diffusion Approximation Algorithm for Stochastic Ion Channels with Multiple States [PDF]
The phenomena that emerge from the interaction of the stochastic opening and closing of ion channels (channel noise) with the non-linear neural dynamics are essential to our understanding of the operation of the nervous system.

Opportunities of Semiconducting Oxide Nanostructures as Advanced Luminescent Materials in Photonics
The review discusses the challenges of wide and ultrawide bandgap semiconducting oxides as a suitable material platform for photonics. They offer great versatility in terms of tuning microstructure, native defects, doping, anisotropy, and micro‐ and nano‐structuring. The review focuses on their light emission, light‐confinement in optical cavities, and

Flexoelectrically Induced Polar Topology in Twisted SrTiO3 Membranes
Twisted SrTiO3 bilayers host polar vortices of flexoelectric origin, revealed through combined experiment and theory. By reconstructing polarization from the toroidal moment of strain gradients, the work establishes a 3D chiral state with broken inversion and mirror symmetries.

Fast stochastic simulation of biochemical reaction systems by\ud alternative formulations of the Chemical Langevin Equation [PDF]
The Chemical Langevin Equation (CLE), which is a stochastic differential equation (SDE) driven by a multidimensional Wiener process, acts as a bridge between the discrete Stochastic Simulation Algorithm and the deterministic reaction rate equation when ...

Isotopically Selected Co‐Doping of 121Sb and 123Sb Pairs in Silicon
Pairs of 121Sb and 123Sb atoms are doped into silicon using single cluster implantation and found to reside substitutionally within the crystal lattice due to self‐annealing with a Sb‐to Sb separation of ≈2 nm. Molecular dynamics simulations reproduce the observed experimental results and single ion cluster detection efficiencies of 94% are ...

Oxygen Evolution Reaction Catalysts for Acidic‐Media CO2 Electrolyzers
Acidic‐media CO2 electroreduction (CO2R) could decarbonize chemical production, despite relying on rare‐earth elements for anodic oxygen evolution reaction (OER). Transferring the learnings from mature sister technologies (water electrolysis) could accelerate technological development.
