Full text clustering and relationship network analysis of biomedical publications. [PDF]
Rapid developments in the biomedical sciences have increased the demand for automatic clustering of biomedical publications. In contrast to current approaches to text clustering, which focus exclusively on the contents of abstracts, a novel method is ...

On Parallelizable Spheres in Semi Euclidean Space
In Euclidean space, there exist four theorems which show that S-n sphere is not parallelizable for n not equal 1, 3, 7. While three of them are shown by using Bott theorem, the last one is shown by using Hurwitz-Radon numbers. In this paper, a theorem and the proof of this theorem about parallelization of spheres in semi-Euclidean space is given. It is

On the Semi-Local Convergence of Two Competing Sixth Order Methods for Equations in Banach Space
A plethora of methods are used for solving equations in the finite-dimensional Euclidean space. Higher-order derivatives, on the other hand, are utilized in the calculation of the local convergence order. However, these derivatives are not on the methods.

Bag-of-gold spacetimes, Euclidean wormholes, and inflation from domain walls in AdS/CFT
We use Euclidean path integrals to explore the set of bulk asymptotically AdS spacetimes with good CFT duals. We consider simple bottom-up models of bulk physics defined by Einstein-Hilbert gravity coupled to thin domain walls and restrict to solutions ...

Summing over geometries in string theory
We examine the question how string theory achieves a sum over bulk geometries with fixed asymptotic boundary conditions. We discuss this problem with the help of the tensionless string on ℳ 3 × S 3 × T 4 $$ {\mathrm{\mathcal{M}}}_3\times {\mathrm{S}}^3 ...

Enhancing Equation Solving: Extending the Applicability of Steffensen-Type Methods
Local convergence analysis is mostly carried out using the Taylor series expansion approach, which requires the utilization of high-order derivatives, not iterative methods.

On the rotation matrices in the semi-euclidean space
Chong and Andrews studied on the rotations matrix in $E^3$ [2].

Biconservative quasi-minimal immersions into semi-Euclidean spaces
In this paper we study biconservative immersions into the semi-Riemannian space form $R^4_2(c)$ of dimension 4, index 2 and constant curvature, where $c\in\{0,-1,1\}$. First, we obtain a characterization of quasi-minimal proper biconservative immersions into $R^4_2(c)$. Then we obtain the complete classification of quasi-minimal biconservative surfaces
