Value‐based prices of emerging disease‐modifying therapies for Alzheimer's disease in 174 countries: a cost‐effectiveness and threshold analysis

open access: yesAlzheimer's &Dementia, Volume 22, Issue 5, May 2026.
Abstract INTRODUCTION Countries have varying, limited healthcare budgets for emerging disease‐modifying therapies. Cost‐effectiveness analysis, combined with country‐level cost‐effectiveness thresholds, can be used to estimate value‐based prices (VBPs) for lecanemab and donanemab across 174 countries.

Regional Shopping Objectives in British Grocery Retail Transactions Using Segmented Topic Models

open access: yesApplied Stochastic Models in Business and Industry, Volume 42, Issue 3, May/June 2026.
ABSTRACT Understanding the customer behaviours behind transactional data has high commercial value in the grocery retail industry. Customers generate millions of transactions every day, choosing and buying products to satisfy specific shopping needs.

Evaluating Idle Animation Believability: A User Perspective

open access: yesComputer Animation and Virtual Worlds, Volume 37, Issue 3, May/June 2026.
This work demonstrates that there is no perceptual difference between genuine and acted idle motion. The first dataset containing these idle animations is also provided. ABSTRACT Animating realistic avatars requires using high‐quality animations for every possible state the avatar can be in.

Genetic Diversity, Population Structure, and Environmental Influences in Nepeta glomerulosa: Implications for Conservation in the Irano‐Turanian Region

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 5, May 2026.
Nepeta glomerulosa shows moderate genetic diversity with three main clusters and significant admixture, highest in the Alborz Mountains, suggesting it may be the center of origin. High genetic differentiation (Gst = 0.4199) points to limited gene flow and possible self‐pollination, with geographic isolation shaping population structure.

Genetic Diversity, Population Structure and Evidence of Genetic Bottleneck in Geoffroea decorticans (Fabaceae): Implications for Conservation

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 5, May 2026.
We documented genetic variation, population structure, and bottleneck signals in Geoffroea decorticans (Fabaceae) populations across the Atacama Desert and emphasize the urgency of genetic monitoring. Conservation plans should prioritize populations based on genetic information including those with low diversity, strong bottleneck signals and high ...
