Connectors and attachments in the survival of fixed dental prostheses: a comprehensive review [PDF]
Connectors and attachments are critical components that unite retainers and pontics in fixed dental prostheses (FDPs). This review synthesizes current evidence on various connector types (rigid, semi-rigid, non-rigid) and attachment systems (precision ...

Precision Attachment Case Restoration With Implant Abutments: A Review With Case Reports [PDF]
Passively retained precision attachment partial dentures have been used successfully on natural tooth abutments since the 1920s. However, the dental profession has not advocated their use with implant abutments.

Use of a Semi-Precision Attachment to Fabricate A Removable Partial Denture: A Case Report
Use of attachment in providing retention to removable prosthesis is an old treatment modality with better success. It highly improves the comfort, aesthetic, function, and patient satisfaction, especially in the patients with long span edentulism where implants and fixed partial denture (FPD) are not indicated and cast partial dentures are barely ...

Novel Functionally Grafted Pseudo-Semi-interpenetrating Networks Constructed by Reactive Linear−Dendritic Copolymers1 [PDF]
This paper describes the synthesis of amphiphilic pseudo-semi-interpenetrating polymer networks (pseudo-semi-IPNs) containing linear poly(styrene) and poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) cross-linked through monodendritic fragments.

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...
