Dynamic response of different connection forms of mechanical connection tunnels under train loads

open access: yesYantu gongcheng xuebao, 2019
As a new type of construction process, the mechanical connection channel is welded by steel plate, and the welding process is prone to fatigue damage under dynamic loads.

An investigation on the seismic behavior of castellated beams under explosion loads effect

open access: yesEnvironment Conservation Journal, 2015
Due to the widespread use of ceilings with T-shaped beams as well as because of economic problems and the lack of sufficient variation of rolled profiles, applying castellated beams in buildings with steel structure has become quite common.

Calculation method of stability bearing capacity of transmission tower angle steel considering semi-rigid constraint

open access: yesCurved and Layered Structures, 2022
The angle steel member is the most commonly used component form of the transmission tower structure. Considering its connection characteristics, we must deal with its stability analysis under semi-rigid constraint conditions for the proper study of the ...

Effect of Semi-Rigid Connection on Post-Buckling Behaviour of Frames Using Finite Element Method [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
It is very important task to estimate the post buckling for structures that have slender elements, since post-buckling state means loss the structures stability related with large displacement and that lead to demolition the structures. On the other hand,

A study on the behavior of beam-column connections in precast concrete structures: experimental analysis

open access: yesRevista IBRACON de Estruturas e Materiais
Due to the large increase in the use of precast concrete structures in multistory buildings, this work covers a study on the behavior of beam-column connection with emphasis on the continuity provided by the slab reinforcement. Two prototypes were tested,

Stability design of structures with semi-rigid connections

open access: yesFacta universitatis - series: Architecture and Civil Engineering, 2010
The paper points out to the differences of the First order theory and Second order theory and of the significance in practical calculations. The paper presents theoretical foundations and expressions of calculations of impacts on the stability of structure, that is, review of the Second order theory in a bridge with members semi-rigid connections in ...

Semi rigid connections and their influence on steel column behaviour. [PDF]

open access: yes, 1980
A review of the development of the analysis of frames with semi-rigid end restraint is given, including the treatment of frame stability and effective lengths. The available experimental data relating to the moment versus in-plane

Heterozygous loss‐of‐function alleles associate the conserved 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease EXOSC10 with hypersensitivity to the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.
