An evolutionary molecular dynamics platform is used to design P1.6, a membrane‐active peptide that senses lipid packing defects in viral envelopes. P1.6 adopts a stabilized α‐helical structure upon membrane contact, disrupts virus‐like liposomes, and damages HIV‐1 particles.

Aberrant Splicing Signatures Underpin Oligodendrocyte Damage in ALS and Neuron Loss in FTD
Integrating bulk and single‐nucleus RNA‐seq from ALS and FTD patients, we revealed distinct cellular dysfunctions, with severe oligodendrocyte damage in ALS and pronounced neuron loss in FTD. We identified cell‐type‐specific aberrant splicing events as potential biomarkers with robust classification performance, some of which produce de novo peptides ...

RvD5 effectively alleviates UC by inhibiting STAT1 signaling to reduce CXCL8 expression in colonic epithelial cells via activation of GPR101, which subsequently decreases the infiltration of neutrophils in the colonic mucosal epithelium. Epimedin A1, a natural allosteric inhibitor of 5‐LOX, demonstrates potential as a therapeutic agent for UC by ...

Advanced Human Immune Cell‐Organoid Co‐Cultures for Functional Testing of Cancer Nanovaccines
Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma remains difficult to treat. We establish an organoid–immune co‐culture using patient‐derived organoids and matched T‐cells to assess cancer vaccines. A mesothelin‐targeted nanovaccine activates antigen‐specific T‐cells, increases IFN‐γ, and targets MSLN+ organoids.

This study identifies OCIAD2 as a critical regulator of cisplatin resistance in HNSCC. Mechanistically, OCIAD2 stabilizes integrin β1 through a direct physical interaction and facilitates its SNX17‐dependent endosomal recycling to lipid raft microdomains. Targeting OCIAD2 disrupts integrin β1 trafficking and significantly enhances cisplatin sensitivity,

Pseudo-Labeling With Large Language Models for Multi-Label Emotion Classification of French Tweets
This study proposes a novel semi-supervised multi-label emotion classification approach for French tweets based on pseudo-labeling. Human subjectivity in emotional expression makes it difficult for a machine to learn.

Histopathological Classification Model for Semi-supervised Knowledge Distillation
Histopathological image classification is a key technology for computer-aided diagnosis, which largely relies on a large amount of labeled data. Although boosting semi-supervised and weakly supervised methods can reduce dependence on labeled data, they ...
