Quantifying Subsurface Weak in‐Plane Magnetization of Mixed Phase BiFeO3 by Scanning Nitrogen Vacancy Magnetometry

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We use scanning nitrogen vacancy magnetometry to directly image the weak in‐plane magnetic moments in mixed phase BiFeO3 at the nanoscale and quantify the local magnetic moments to be 18.8±2.0 μB/nm2 in the rhombohedral‐like phase and 1.5±0.6 μB/nm2 in the well‐known non‐magnetic tetragonal‐like phase.

Glissile Interphase Boundaries Enable Collective Phase Switching in Epitaxial Polar Oxides

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A triple point is identified in the phase diagram of low‐symmetry epitaxial BiFeO3 thin film along with an extended regime of phase competition associated with a flattened energy landscape. The electromechanical response is shown to be governed by correlated interphase‐boundary motion, including scale‐free avalanche dynamics characteristic of systems ...

Characterization of Bach and Cotton Tensors on a Class of Lorentzian Manifolds

open access: yesMathematics
In this work, we aim to investigate the characteristics of the Bach and Cotton tensors on Lorentzian manifolds, particularly those admitting a semi-symmetric metric ω-connection.

GENERALIZED SASAKIAN SPACE FORMS WITH SEMI-SYMMETRIC METRIC CONNECTIONS

open access: yesAnnals of the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University - Mathematics, 2014
Abstract The aim of the present paper is to introduce generalized Sasakian space forms endowed with semi-symmetric metric connections. We obtain the existence theorem of a generalized Sasakian space form with semi-symmetric metric connection and we give some examples by using warped products endowed with semi-symmetric metric connection.

On Anti-Kähler manifolds with complex semi-symmetric metric $F-$connection

open access: yesHacettepe Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, 2020
In this paper, we construct a complex semi-symmetric metric $F$-connection on an anti-Kähler manifold. First, we present some results concerning the torsion tensor of the complex semi-symmetric metric $F$-connection. Finally, we find expressions of the curvature tensor, the conharmonic curvature tensor and the Weyl projective curvature tensor of such ...

Some Chen Inequalities for Submanifolds in Trans-Sasakian Manifolds Admitting a Semi-Symmetric Non-Metric Connection

open access: yesAxioms
In the present article, we study submanifolds tangent to the Reeb vector field in trans-Sasakian manifolds. We prove Chen’s first inequality and the Chen–Ricci inequality, respectively, for such submanifolds in trans-Sasakian manifolds which admit a semi-

Electrospun Wood‐Derived Biopolymers as Electrodes in Electrochemical Energy Storage Technologies

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Electrospinning transforms wood‐derived cellulose and lignin into architecturally defined, binder‐free carbon electrodes with tuneable porosity and functionality. This review shows how fibre design enables decoupled charge and mass transport, enhancing performance across battery systems, while identifying key challenges in spinnability, scalability ...

A Note On The Quasi-Conformal And M-Projective Curvature Tensor Of A Semi-Symmetric Recurrent Metric Connection On A Riemannian Manifold

open access: yesSüleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi Fen Dergisi, 2013
: In the present note we have considered Mn to be a Riemannian manifold admitting a semi-symmetric recurrent metric connection. The aim of the present paper is to obtain the conditions under which the quasi-conformal curvature tensor and M-projective ...
