Constant sectional curvature surfaces with a semi-symmetric non-metric connection
Consider the Euclidean space $\mathbb{R}^3$ endowed with a canonical semi-symmetric non-metric connection determined by a vector field $\mathsf{C}\in\mathfrak{X}(\mathbb{R}^3)$. We study surfaces when the sectional curvature with respect to this connection is constant.

Transition metal oxy/carbo‐nitrides show great promise as catalysts for sustainable processes. A Mn‐Mo mixed‐metal oxynitride attains remarkable performance for the direct synthesis of acetonitrile, an important commodity chemical, via sequential C─N and C─C coupling from syngas (C1) and ammonia (N1) feedstocks.

Summary: We study lightlike hypersurfaces \(M\) of a Lorentz manifold \(\overline M\) with a semi-symmetric non-metric connection subject to the conditions: (1) the screen distribution \(S(TM)\) is totally geodesic in \(M\), and (2) the second fundamental form \(B\) of \(M\) is parallel.

Flexoelectrically Induced Polar Topology in Twisted SrTiO3 Membranes
Twisted SrTiO3 bilayers host polar vortices of flexoelectric origin, revealed through combined experiment and theory. By reconstructing polarization from the toroidal moment of strain gradients, the work establishes a 3D chiral state with broken inversion and mirror symmetries.

Summary: The object of the present paper is to study a special type of semi-symmetric non-metric \(\phi \)-connection on a Kenmotsu manifold. It is shown that if the curvature tensor of Kenmotsu manifolds admitting a special type of semi-symmetric non-metric \(\phi \)-connection \(\bar{\nabla}\) vanishes, then the Kenmotsu manifold is locally isometric
