Colloidal Crack Sintering Lithography for Light‐Induced Patterning of Particle Assemblies

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Colloidal crack sintering lithography (CCSL) is a microfabrication technique that uses light‐induced photothermal heating to trigger sintering and controlled cracking in polymer colloidal assemblies. Local structural changes generate microchannels and patterns, enabling direct writing of diverse topographic motifs.

Shape‐Morphing Nanoengineered Hydrogel Ribbons as Hemostats

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study introduces a self‐assembling, shape‐morphing nanoengineered hydrogel ribbon system that rapidly forms porous aggregates in situ for efficient hemostasis in trauma and surgical applications. Abstract Rapid and effective hemorrhage control remains a major challenge in trauma and surgical care, particularly for complex or noncompressible wounds.

Living Liquid Metal Composites Embedded with Electrogenic Endospores for Next‐Generation Bioelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A new class of living liquid metal composites is introduced, embedding Bacillus subtilis endospores into eutectic gallium–indium (EGaIn). The spores enhance droplet coalescence, strengthen interfacial conductivity, and provide on‐demand electrogenic functionality after germination. The composites exhibit high conductivity, self‐healing, patternability,

Effects of Regional Magnetic Field on Rotating MHD Flow Field of Unity Magnetic Prandtl Number

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2012
This work numerically studies the flow pattern of a magnetic fluid filled within an annulus whose inner cylinder is moving at a constant rotational speed, while the outer cylinder is stationary but under the influence of a nonuniform external magnetic ...

Finite Element Least Square Technique for Newtonian Fluid Flow through a Semicircular Cylinder of Recirculating Region via COMSOL Multiphysics

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2020
This article aims to study Newtonian fluid flow modeling and simulation through a rectangular channel embedded in a semicircular cylinder with the range of Reynolds number from 100 to 1500. The fluid is considered as laminar and Newtonian, and the problem is time independent.

Efficient NiOx Hole Transport Layers Enabled by Multifunctional MXenes for High‐Performance Tin‐Lead Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An efficient NiOx HTL is successfully prepared by introducing MXene as an additive without further surface modification to fabricate high‐performance FASn0.5Pb0.5I3 perovskite solar cells. The introduction of MXene contributes to improved conductivity of NiOx, better aligned at NiOx/perovskite interfaces, and enhanced quality of perovskite films ...

Simulation of Bending Fracture Process of Asphalt Mixture Semicircular Specimen with Extended Finite Element Method

open access: yesAdvances in Materials Science and Engineering, 2018
In order to numerically simulate the whole fracture process including the initiation and propagation of crack in asphalt concrete semicircular specimens under external force, the extended finite element method (XFEM) was adopted considering the shortcomings of the conventional finite element method (FEM).
