Semiclassical Asymptotics of Eigenfunctions
1999One of the most important problems of mathematical physics is the study of the spectrum of self-adjoint operators associated with differential equations and boundary value problems for them. The spectrum in such problems, depending on the configuration of the domain in which the equation is considered and on the properties of the coefficients of the ...

Semiclassical asymptotics of perturbed cat maps
Proceedings of the Royal Society of London. Series A: Mathematical and Physical Sciences, 1995Abstract We derive an exact representation for trUn, where U is the quantum propagator associated with an Anosov-perturbed cat map. This takes the form of a sum over the fixed points of the nth iterate of the classical transformation, the contribution of each one being given by an n-fold multiple integral.

Semiclassical Coulomb differential excitation function: Asymptotic expansions
Journal of Mathematical Physics, 2001We have obtained asymptotic expansions of the electric dipole (E1) differential excitation function for large values of the adiabaticity parameter ξ and for all values of the eccentricity (ε) of the projectile orbit. To accomplish this, we have developed a new asymptotic power series of exponential integrals related to the Airy integrals, introduced ...

Semiclassical eigenvalue asymptotics for a Schrödinger operator with a degenerate potential
Asymptotic Analysis, 2000We give the asymptotic behaviour, when $h$ tends to zero, of the number of eigenvalues less then a fixed energy $\lambda$ , of the Schrödinger operator ${\widehat{H}_h}=-h^2\Delta + f(x)g(y),\ (x,y)\in \mathbf{R}^d=\mathbf{R}^n\times \mathbf{R}^m$ . $f$ and $g$ are continuous and positive functions tending to infinity at infinity, $g(y)$ is homogeneous

Semiclassical asymptotics of the spectrum of a nonselfadjoint operator on the sphere
Russian Journal of Mathematical Physics, 2009The asymptotics as ɛ → 0 of the spectrum of the shifted Laplace operator H = ɛΔ + ∂υ on the standard two-dimensional sphere is described, where υ is a vector field.

Semiclassical stability of asymptotically locally flat spaces
Physical Review D, 1983Constructing a partition function for Euclidean quantum gravity by using asymptotically locally flat instantons will result in an imaginary contribution to the partition function. A negative eigenmode for the differential operator giving a one-loop contribution to the partition function has been found for the Taub-bolt instanton.

Semiclassical Spectral Asymptotics and Multiparticle Quantum Theory
1995In this talk I would like to present the very first results of my intervention to the Multiparticle Quantum Theory (MQT). A lot of nice results were obtained by mathematical physicists but the Theory of Semiclassical Spectral Asymptotics (TSSA) was applied only in a few papers and I believe that the systematic application will provide some progress ...
