1. A novel two‐stage robust security‐constrained unit commitment model, which incorporates wind power probabilistic reserves and decision‐dependent uncertainty (DDU), is proposed. 2. The proposed DDU model is transformed into an equivalent but more tractable decision‐independent uncertainty formulation.

Photonic Metrology with Hierarchic Quantum Frequentist Bounds
This paper proposes photonic metrology with hierarchical quantum frequentist bounds. The present model tightens the Quantum Cramér‐Rao Bound using a hybrid classical‐quantum framework. The experiment validates the hierarchical frequentist bounds for single‐qubit phase estimation.

Sensitivity of Perron and Fiedler Eigenpairs to Structural Perturbations of a Network
ABSTRACT One can estimate the change of the Perron and Fiedler values for a connected network when the weight of an edge is perturbed by analyzing relevant entries of the Perron and Fiedler vectors. This is helpful for identifying edges whose weight perturbation causes the largest change in the Perron and Fiedler values.

A sequential semidefinite programming method and an application in passive reduced-order modeling
We consider the solution of nonlinear programs with nonlinear semidefiniteness constraints. The need for an efficient exploitation of the cone of positive semidefinite matrices makes the solution of such nonlinear semidefinite programs more complicated ...

On Difference-of-SOS and Difference-of-Convex-SOS Decompositions for Polynomials
In this paper, we are interested in developing polynomial decomposition techniques to reformulate real valued multivariate polynomials into difference-of-sums-of-squares (namely, D-SOS) and difference-of-convex-sums-of-squares (namely, DC-SOS).

New fiber and graph combinations of convex bodies
Abstract Three new combinations of convex bodies are introduced and studied: the Lp$L_p$ fiber, Lp$L_p$ chord, and graph combinations. These combinations are defined in terms of the fibers and graphs of pairs of convex bodies, and each operation generalizes the classical Steiner symmetral, albeit in different ways.

Let \(V\overset.{}={\mathcal S}^{n\times n}\) be the vector space of real symmetric matrices of order \(n\) and \(\Sigma\) be the set of all posiive semidefinite matrices in \(V\). If \(X\in\Sigma\), we will use the notation \(X\succeq 0\). Suppose that \(L: V\to V\) is a linear transformation.
