Semigroup Ideals and Commutativity in 3-prime Near Rings
, 2015The purpose of this paper is to study derivations and generalized derivations satisfying certain identities on semigroup ideals of near-rings. Some well-known results characterizing commutativity of 3-prime near-rings by derivations have been generalized

The structure of a graph inverse semigroup
, 2014Given any directed graph E one can construct a graph inverse semigroupG(E), where, roughly speaking, elements correspond to paths in the graph. In this paper we study the semigroup-theoretic structure of G(E).

The minimal number of generators of a finite semigroup
, 2013The rank of a finite semigroup is the smallest number of elements required to generate the semigroup. A formula is given for the rank of an arbitrary (not necessarily regular) Rees matrix semigroup over a group.

Semigroup algebras of finite ample semigroups
Proceedings of the Royal Society of Edinburgh: Section A Mathematics, 2012An adequate semigroup S is called ample if ea = a(ea)* and ae = (ae)†a for all a ∈ S and e ∈ E(S). Inverse semigroups are exactly those ample semigroups that are regular.

The numerical duplication of a numerical semigroup
, 2012In this paper we present and study the numerical duplication of a numerical semigroup, a construction that, starting with a numerical semigroup S and a semigroup ideal E⊆S, produces a new numerical semigroup, denoted by S⋈bE (where b is any odd integer ...

Radicals of semigroups and semigroup algebras
Sbornik: Mathematics, 2010In the paper, diverse lower radicals of semigroups are considered, and it is shown how these radicals can be used when evaluating the prime radical of group and semigroup algebras. Conditions are found under which the prime radical of a group algebra coincides with an ideal generated by some congruence. Bibliography: 22 titles.

Topological pressure and topological entropy of a semigroup of maps
, 2011By using the Caratheodory-Pesin structure(C-P structure), with respect to arbitrary subset, the topological pressure and topological entropy, introduced for a single continuous map, is generalized to the cases of semigroup of continuous maps.

Completely Positive Dynamical Semigroups of N Level Systems
, 1976We establish the general form of the generator of a completely positive dynamical semigroup of an N‐level quantum system, and we apply the result to derive explicit inequalities among the physical parameters characterizing the Markovian evolution of a 2 ...

THE DECOHERENCE-FREE SUBALGEBRA OF A QUANTUM MARKOV SEMIGROUP WITH UNBOUNDED GENERATOR
, 2010Let be a quantum Markov semigroup on with a faithful normal invariant state ρ. The decoherence-free subalgebra of is the biggest subalgebra of where the completely positive maps act as homomorphisms.
