Abstract Boundary Delay Systems and Application to Network Flow
ABSTRACT This paper investigates the well‐posedness and positivity of solutions to a class of delayed transport equations on a network. The material flow is delayed at the vertices and along the edges. The problem is reformulated as an abstract boundary delay equation, and well‐posedness is proved by using the Staffans–Weiss theory.

Several co-associative laws and pre-$ B $-algebras
In this paper, we introduce several co-associative laws and the notion of a pre-$ B $-algebra. We show that every $ B $-algebra is both a pre-$ B $-algebra and a $ \perp $-algebra. We apply the notions of a post groupoid and a pre-semigroup of a groupoid

Weak*-closed invariant subspaces and ideals of semigroup algebras on foundation semigroups [PDF]
Let S be a locally compact foundation semigroup with identity and be its semigroup algebra. Let X be a weak*-closed left translation invariant subspace of In this paper, we prove that X is invariantly complemented in if ...

On Pseudo-contractibility and Ultra Central Approximate Identity of Some Semigroup Algebras
In this paper, we investigate the existence of an ultra central approximate identity for a Banach algebra A and its second dual A∗∗. Also, we prove that for a left cancellative regular semigroup S, ℓ1S∗∗ has an ultra central approximate identity if and ...

Infinite-dimensional Compact Quantum Semigroup
In this paper we construct a compact quantum semigroup structure on the Toeplitz algebra $\mathcal{T}$. The existence of a subalgebra, isomorphic to the algebra of regular Borel's measures on a circle with convolution product, in the dual algebra ...

The Cuntz semigroup and the radius of comparison of the crossed product by a finite group [PDF]
Let G be a finite group, let A be an infinite-dimensional stably finite simple unital C*-algebra, and let $\alpha \colon G \to {\operatorname {Aut}} (A)$ be an action of G on A which has the weak tracial Rokhlin property.

Semigroup C*-algebras of $ax+b$-semigroups
We study semigroup C*-algebras of $ax+b$-semigroups over integral domains. The goal is to generalize several results about C*-algebras of $ax+b$-semigroups over rings of algebraic integers. We prove results concerning K-theory and structural properties like the ideal structure or pure infiniteness. Our methods allow us to treat $ax+b$-semigroups over a

When do pseudo‐Gorenstein rings become Gorenstein?
Abstract We discuss the relationship between the trace ideal of the canonical module and pseudo‐Gorensteinness. In particular, under certain mild assumptions, we show that every positively graded domain that is both pseudo‐Gorenstein and nearly Gorenstein is Gorenstein. As an application, we clarify the relationships among nearly Gorensteinness, almost

THE ANALOGUE OF WEIGHTED GROUP ALGEBRA FOR SEMITOPOLOGICAL SEMIGROUPS [PDF]
In [1,2,3], A. C. Baker and J.W. Baker studied the subspace Ma(S) of the convolution measure algebra M, (S) of a locally compact semigroup. H. Dzinotyiweyi in [5,7] considers an analogous measure space on a large class of C-distinguished topological ...
