Equational theories of semigroups with involution
The paper deals with finite basis problem for classes of partition semigroups considered as involutary semigroups. A number of interesting results are obtained. The technique relies on a subtle analysis of the structure of the semigroups under consideration as well as on the results of a previous paper by the same authors [J. Eur. Math. Soc. (JEMS) 14,

On disjoint unions of finitely many copies of the free monogenic semigroup
Every semigroup which is a finite disjoint union of copies of the free monogenic semigroup (natural numbers under addition) is finitely presented and residually finite.Peer ...

Cancellative and Malcev presentations for finite Rees index subsemigroups and extensions [PDF]
It is known that, for semigroups, the property of admitting a finite presentation is preserved on passing to subsemigroups and extensions of finite Rees index.

Skew compact spaces are the best behaving generalization of compact Hausdorff spaces to non-Hausdorff spaces. They are those (X ; τ ) such that there is another topology τ* on X for which τ V τ* is compact and (X; τ ; τ*) is pairwise Hausdorff; under ...

Every group is a maximal subgroup of the free idempotent generated semigroup over a band
Given an arbitrary group G we construct a semigroup of idempotents (band) BG with the property that the free idempotent generated semigroup over BG has a maximal subgroup isomorphic to G. If G is finitely presented then BG is finite. This answers several

Neutrosophic Bi-LA-Semigroup and Neutrosophic N-LASemigroup [PDF]
In this paper we define neutrosophic bi-LA semigroup and neutrosophic N-LA-semigroup. Infact this paper is an extension of our previous paper neutrosophic left almost semigroup shortly neutrosophic LAsemigroup.

Stability of Viscous Three‐Dimensional Stratified Couette Flow via Dispersion and Mixing
ABSTRACT This article explores the stability of stratified Couette flow in the viscous 3d$3d$ Boussinesq equations. In this system, mixing effects arise from the shearing background, and gravity acts as a restoring force leading to dispersive internal gravity waves.

The Cuntz semigroup and domain theory [PDF]
Domain theory has its origins in Mathematics and Theoretical Computer Science. Mathematically it combines order and topology. Its central concepts have their origin in the idea of approximating ideal objects by their relatively finite or, more generally, relatively compact parts.

Generating the full transformation semigroup using order preserving mappings
For a linearly ordered set X we consider the relative rank of the semigroup of all order preserving mappings O-X on X modulo the full transformation semigroup Ex. In other words, we ask what is the smallest cardinality of a set A of mappings such that =
