Summary: \(EL\)-hypergroups were defined by \textit{J. Chvalina} 1995 [Functional graphs, quasi-ordered sets and commutative hypergroups. Brno: Masaryk University (1995)]. Till now, no exact statistics of \(EL\)-hypergroups have been done. Moreover, there is no classification of \(EL\)-hypergroups and \(EL^2\)-hypergroups even over small sets.

The concepts of semihypergroups and hypergroups were first introduced by C. Dunkl, I. Jewett and R. Spector independently around the year 1972. Till then, a variety of research has been carried out on different areas of hypergroups. However, no extensive study is found so far on the more general category of semihypergroups, which serves as building ...

Topologically simple semihypergroup
2022Summary: In this note, we introduce the concept of topologically simple semihypergroup and determine when topological simplicity of a complete subsemihypergroup of a semihypergroup implies its simplicity from algebraic point of view.

On the transitivity of the relation β in semihypergroups
Rendiconti del Circolo Matematico di Palermo, 1996A significant result in the hypergroup theory is the one given by D. Freni in 1991, that is that in a hypergroup \(\beta=\beta^*\). The aim of the paper under review is to characterize semihypergroups in which the relation \(\beta\) is transitive. The main theorem gives a necessary and sufficient condition such that \(\beta\) is transitive.

On prime soft bi-hyperideals of semihypergroups
Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 2014In this paper, we introduce prime, strongly prime, semiprime, irreducible and strongly irreducible soft bi-hyperideals of a semihypergroup over an initial universe U. We characterize regular and intra-regular semihypergroups in terms of these soft bi-hyperideals.

Hyperfilters and fuzzy hyperfilters of ordered semihypergroups
Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 2015Abstract In this paper, we introduce the concept of hyperfilters of an ordered semihypergroup, and present some examples in this respect. Furthermore, we define and discuss the fuzzy hyperfilters of ordered semihypergroups.
