ABSTRACT Soybean plants are one of the most cultivated legume crops worldwide. Their ability to establish nitrogen‐fixing symbiosis with rhizobium bacteria allows the reduction of molecular nitrogen to ammonium, contributing to a reduction in the dependence on nitrogen fertilizers.
