Duplicated seminal vesicle

Urology, 1999
We report a case of complete, unilateral seminal vesicle duplication without concomitant reproductive duct or renal anomalies encountered during radical retropubic prostatectomy. We also discuss the possible embryologic origin of this anomaly and the clinical implications.

Seminal vesicle amyloidosis

Urology, 1973
Abstract A case of localized amyloidosis of the seminal vesicle with hematospermia is reported. To our knowledge this is the first clinical example of this disease treated by seminal vesiculectomy. Lymphocyte transformation studies were performed to search for an immunologic cause. The incidence of this disorder and its pathogenesis are reviewed.

Seminal vesicle carcinoma

The Lancet, 2013
A 56-year-old man presented with a 29 day history of urgency and twice-hourly micturition. Physical examination was shown a cystic mass in the lower left abdomen. Intravenous urography showed right kidney hydronephrosis and hydroureter. CT scan of the pelvis showed a cystic mass behind the bladder, measuring 14·6 × 10·6 × 12∤0 cm (fi gure A).

Bilateral Seminal Vesicle Abscesses

European Urology, 1991
We report a case of a seminal vesicle abscess successfully treated by percutaneous perineal drainage. Magnetic resonance imaging was helpful in clarifying the differential diagnosis. Seminal vesicle abscess is a rare pathological entity; since 1958, only 7 cases have been reported in the literature.

Primary Seminal Vesicle Carcinoma

International Journal of Surgical Pathology, 2011
Criteria for the very rare diagnosis of primary seminal vesicle carcinoma have traditionally been highly stringent but may be relaxed with the application of immunohistochemistry to the diagnosis of mass lesions that occur in the male pelvis. The authors report a case of disseminated carcinoma with a clinically occult primary site that apparently had ...

Primary seminal vesicle adenocarcinoma

Clinical Imaging, 2011
We describe the case of a 48-year-old male with primary seminal vesicle carcinoma. Although most malignant lesions involving the seminal vesicles are the result of secondary spread from other tumors, primary seminal vesicle carcinoma must be considered in the differential diagnosis, as the prognosis for this condition is dismal.
