Seminal vesicle amyloidosis

Urology, 1973
Abstract A case of localized amyloidosis of the seminal vesicle with hematospermia is reported. To our knowledge this is the first clinical example of this disease treated by seminal vesiculectomy. Lymphocyte transformation studies were performed to search for an immunologic cause. The incidence of this disorder and its pathogenesis are reviewed.

Bilateral Seminal Vesicle Abscesses

European Urology, 1991
We report a case of a seminal vesicle abscess successfully treated by percutaneous perineal drainage. Magnetic resonance imaging was helpful in clarifying the differential diagnosis. Seminal vesicle abscess is a rare pathological entity; since 1958, only 7 cases have been reported in the literature.
