A robust solid‐state protein junction with a semi‐transparent eC/Au electrode allows photoexcitation of the bacterio‐rhodopsin, bR layer, to isomerize the bR retinal. The resulting photo‐response shows the protein is functional in the solid‐state junction.

Multimodality approach to imaging giant multilocular cystadenoma of the prostate: A rare entity
Giant multilocular cystadenomas of the prostate or seminal vesicles are rarely reported in literature. We present a case of a 76-year-old male presenting with lower urinary tract symptoms initially perceived as symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia ...

The seminal fluid protein SFP-1 regulates mated hermaphrodite aging and fat metabolism in C. elegans
Across the evolutionary spectrum, sexual interactions can significantly influence the physiology and somatic aging in various species. In Caenorhabditis, male pheromones, sperm, and seminal fluid shorten the lifespan of hermaphrodites through different ...

Bioactive conductive Ti3C2Tx‐Ce hydrogels with with scavenging ROS and alleviating neuronal mitochondrial dysfunction are exploited for SCI treatment. This functionality is attributed to interfacial activation modification of Ti3C2Tx with Ce3+ ions to in‐situ form Ce(OH)x‐mediated protective layer, which is beneficial to enabling stable intracellular ...
