Residuated Structures Derived from Commutative Idempotent Semirings
Since the reduct of every residuated lattice is a semiring, we can ask under what condition a semiring can be converted into a residuated lattice. It turns out that this is possible if the semiring in question is commutative, idempotent, G-simple and ...

Every simple compact semiring is finite
A Hausdorff topological semiring is called simple if every non-zero continuous homomorphism into another Hausdorff topological semiring is injective. Classical work by Anzai and Kaplansky implies that any simple compact ring is finite. We generalize this

Abstract In this paper, we introduce and study the concept of strongly clean semiring. Let S be a semiring. An element a ∈ S is called strongly clean if a = e+u with e an idempotent in S and u a unit in S such that eu = ue. A semiring S is said to be strongly clean if every nonzero element of S is strongly clean.

We introduce and study an abstract class of semirings, which we call exact semirings, defined by a Hahn-Banach-type separation property on modules.

Metrization of idempotent semiring of topological rings
In this paper, we have introduced natural H+ - pseudovaluation and H+ -norm on a completely regular semiring making it a topological completely regular (algebraic) semiring and established some necessary and sufficient conditions of metrizability of a ...

Ideal basis in constructions defined by directed graphs
The present article continues the investigation of visible ideal bases in constructions defined using directed graphs. This notion is motivated by its applications for the design of classication systems.

In this paper we study the properties of structures of the semigroup (M,+) and the Γ-semigroup M of Γ -semiring M and regular Γ-semiring M satisfying the identity a + aαb = a or aαb + a = a or a + aαb + b = a or a + 1 = 1, for all a ∈ M, α ∈ Γ.

Pseudo-Analysis as a Tool of Information Processing
The theory of the pseudo-analysis is based on a special real semiring (called also tropical semiring). This theory enables a unified approach to three important problems as nonlinearity, uncertainty and optimization, with many applications.

We investigate ideal-semisimple and congruence-semisimple semirings. We give several new characterizations of such semirings using e-projective and e-injective semimodules. We extend several characterizations of semisimple rings to (not necessarily subtractive) commutative semirings.

Analysis of the Wiener Index of Rough Annihilator Graph Over Rough Semirings
An effective analytical and visual tool for comprehending the annihilator relationships inside a rough semiring is its annihilator graph. This paper introduces and investigates rough annihilator graph, denoted RAG(T), of the commutative rough semiring T.
