Atrazine Toxicity on Transport Properties of Hemocyanin in the Crab Oziotelphusa senex senex
Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety, 1995 The current study reports the possible changes in the copper metabolism of the crab Oziotelphusa senex senex exposed to a sublethal concentration of atrazine. The alterations observed in the synthesis of pigment, hemocyanin, and its affinity to oxygen suggest the existence of respiratory distress in the crab as a consequence of atrazine toxicity.
