Sustainable and Multifunctional Natural Macromolecular Polymers for Aqueous Zn Metal Batteries
We comprehensively review the structure‐function relationships and regulatory mechanism of natural macromolecular polymers in stabilizing zinc anodes at the microscopic and mesoscopic scales. The interactions among polymer structures, optimization strategies, and regulatory mechanisms are discussed systematically summarizing recent related research ...

Case report Congenital heart failure after the Senning operation. Case report
From the early 1960s to the mid 1980s, the Mustard and Senning procedures were the treatment of choice for transposition of the great arteries (d-TGA). We report a case of a young girl who had undergone surgical repair of complete transposition by the ...

Late results of senning operation [PDF]
Objectives: Few data exist for long-term results after the Senning operation for transposition of the great arteries. Sinus node dysfunction and systemic ventricular dysfunction have been the main problems.

Bioengineered Interfaces for Peripheral Nerve Sensory Restoration
Half of amputees abandon their prosthetics for lack of feeling. This review charts the full path from peripheral nerve injury to restored sensation, through surgical, regenerative, noninvasive, and implanted approaches, and shows how injury type and interface material properties determine which strategy can deliver naturalistic feedback, and why ...

Multi‐Biomimetic Structural Colors Inspired by Pearls and Bird Feathers
A dual‐biomimetic strategy mimicking pearls and bird feathers is proposed to construct full‐gamut structural colors. By integrating a non‐strictly periodic inorganic multilayer architecture with tunable light absorbers, this facile approach circumvents the complex fabrication of traditional 1D photonic crystals, offering immense potential for cosmetics,

Interface‐Mediated Catalysis for Improved Hydrogen Storage in Reactive Hydride Composites
Catalyst–hydride interfaces are engineered in Co@C‐ and Ni@C‐modified 2LiH + MgB2 reactive hydride composites to accelerate hydrogen uptake and release. Multiscale scattering, in‐situ synchrotron radiation powder x‐ray diffraction and density functional theory calculations reveal the structural and electronic origin of the catalytic enhancement ...

Arterial switch operation: A surgical triumph with long-term management challenges
Since the late 1980s, the standard approach for treating D-transposition of the great arteries has been the arterial switch operation (ASO), replacing the Mustard/Senning procedure.

Ultrathin and Flexible Organic Light‐Addressable Potentiometric Sensors
The first ultrathin, fully organic, and flexible light‐addressable potentiometric sensor (LAPS) is demonstrated. With a thickness of only 2.3–2.9 µm, this standalone film offers sensitivity to electrolyte potential and stable performance for over 170 days.
