Adults can be made to experience state attachment security (e.g., feel calm, cared for, and trusting) when they recall experiences, in which others were accepting and responsive. In two experiments, we tested whether receiving affectionate touch in the context of a close relationship naturally promotes state attachment security.

The Sense of Security and a Countermeasure for the False Sense
2011In this paper, we report the two issues from our recent research on the human aspect of security. One is the sense of security and the other is a warning interface for security threats. We look into the emotional aspect of security technology and investigate the factors of users' feelings based on the user surveys and statistical analysis.

The Structure of the Sense of Security, Anshin
2008Traditional research on security has been based on the assumption that a user feels secure when provided with secure systems and services. In this research we address factors influencing users' sense of security. This paper reports our recent discoveries regarding the structure of the sense of security — Anshin.

Compressed Sensing and Security
2018In this chapter we briefly review the Compressed Sensing (CS) framework, discussing the acquisition model, the conditions under which the signal can be recovered, and the main reconstruction algorithms. Then, we show how CS is essentially analogous to a private key cryptosystem if signal acquisition, signal recovery, and sensing matrix generation are ...

Discussion About a Sense of Security and Satisfaction
2006 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man and Cybernetics, 2006In recent years, our lives become more convenient rapidly due to progress of technology.
