Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

A 2D Nested Array Based DOA Estimator for Incoherently Distributed Sources via Sparse Representation Utilizing L1-Norm

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2019
Nested arrays are sparse arrays composed of subarrays with nonuniform sensor spacing. Compared with traditional uniform arrays, nested arrays have more degree of freedoms (DOFs) and larger apertures.

Array shape calibration with phase unwrapping techniques for highly deformed arrays

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar & Navigation, 2021
Flexible sensor arrays, such as towed and bottom‐mounted arrays, typically suffer from large shape deformations, which seriously affect the results of array processing.

On the Feasibility of Wireless Energy Transfer Using Massive Antenna Arrays

open access: yes, 2016
We illustrate potential benefits of using massive antenna arrays for wireless energy transfer (WET). Specifically, we analyze probability of outage in WET over fading channels when a base station (BS) with multiple antennas beamforms energy to a wireless

Subtraction of Newtonian Noise Using Optimized Sensor Arrays [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Fluctuations in the local Newtonian gravitational field present a limit to high precision measurements, including searches for gravitational waves using laser interferometers.

Crucial parameters for precise copy number variation detection in formalin‐fixed paraffin‐embedded solid cancer samples

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that copy number variations (CNVs) can be reliably detected in formalin‐fixed paraffin‐embedded (FFPE) solid cancer samples using ultra‐low‐pass whole‐genome sequencing, provided that key (pre)‐analytical parameters are optimized.

Development of a versatile capacitive tactile sensor based on transparent flexible materials integrating an excellent sensitivity and a high resolution

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2012
A versatile capacitive tactile sensor based on transparent flexible materials is developed in a simple and low-cost fabrication process. The sensor shows an excellent sensitivity (S=2.05 N-1), and is highly sensitive to the load as low as about 3 mN ...

Combining Two Selection Principles: Sensor Arrays Based on Both Biomimetic Recognition and Chemometrics

open access: yesFrontiers in Chemistry, 2018
Electronic noses mimic smell and taste senses by using sensor arrays to assess complex samples and to simultaneously detect multiple analytes. In most cases, the sensors forming such arrays are not highly selective.
