Elevated Connectivity During Language Processing Is Associated With Cognitive Performance in SeLECTS
ABSTRACT Objective Self‐Limited Epilepsy with Centrotemporal Spikes (SeLECTS) is associated with language impairments despite seizures originating in the motor cortex, suggesting aberrant cross‐network interactions. Here we tested whether functional connectivity in SeLECTS during language tasks predicts language performance.

The Role of Calcitonin Gene‐Related Peptide in High‐Altitude Headache: A Prospective Field Study
ABSTRACT Objective High‐altitude headache (HAH) is a common neurological condition associated with rapid ascent to high altitude. The pathophysiological mechanisms underlying HAH remain incompletely understood. Calcitonin gene‐related peptide (CGRP), a neuropeptide implicated in migraine pathophysiology, may play a key role in the pathophysiology of ...

ABSTRACT Objective Considerable efforts have been dedicated to developing effective treatments for post‐stroke executive impairment (PSEI), among which repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) has shown great potential. This study aimed to investigate the therapeutic effects of high‐frequency rTMS on working memory (WM) and response ...

Advancing Age Modulates Associations Between Cognitive Impairment and Brain Volumes in Early MS
ABSTRACT Introduction Cognitive impairment is common in multiple sclerosis (MS), but manifestations following the first demyelinating event are relatively unexplored. We investigated cross‐sectional associations between magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)–derived brain volumes and the presence of cognitive impairment outcomes five years after the first ...

ABSTRACT Background X‐linked adrenoleukodystrophy (X‐ALD) is a neurometabolic disorder caused by pathogenic variants in ABCD1, leading to slowly progressive spinal cord disease in nearly all affected men. Sensitive biomarkers to quantify disease severity and predict progression are needed for clinical care and trial design.

Fault detection of wireless sensor networks
Computer Communications, 2008This paper presents a distributed fault detection algorithm for wireless sensor networks. Faulty sensor nodes are identified based on comparisons between neighboring nodes and dissemination of the decision made at each node. Time redundancy is used to tolerate transient faults in sensing and communication. To eliminate delay involved in time redundancy

Sensors fault diagnosis for a BMS
2014 European Control Conference (ECC), 2014This paper deals with sensor fault diagnosis for a battery management system (BMS). The diagnosis procedure consists on the detection and isolation of sensor faults. A new battery pack design, composed by the cells and sensors, is introduced. Three sensors are considered: voltage, current and temperature.

Fault diagnosis of a sensor network
2012 11th International Conference on Information Science, Signal Processing and their Applications (ISSPA), 2012This paper proposes a novel fault diagnosis scheme for a sensor network of a cascade, parallel and feedback combination of subsystems. The objective is to detect and isolate a fault in any of the subsystems and measurement sensors which are subject to disturbances and measurement noise.
