Sensorless control of electrical drives
SPIE Proceedings, 2006ABSTRACT This paper provides an overview of advanced methods to perform sensorless control for D.C. and A.C. motors in detail. The features of the methods are presented, analyzed and evaluated. The conclusion can be used as a guideline for the persons interested in sensorless control.

Sensorless control of induction motors
IEMDC 2001. IEEE International Electric Machines and Drives Conference (Cat. No.01EX485), 2002A sensorless torque control system for induction motors was developed in this research. The system allows for fast and precise torque tracking over a wide range of speed. Unlike most research in the area, the authors used an induction motor model that adapts its parameters to the operating conditions.

Sensorless Control Technique for BLDCM
2011 International Conference on Control, Automation and Systems Engineering (CASE), 2011Brushless DC motor system, the rotor position signal is essential for the normal operation of the entire system. Past rotor position sensor signal is detected by the position, but sensors are more affected by environmental drawbacks. Currently, no position sensor control technology has become a hot topic.

Sensorless torque control of SyncRel motor drives
IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 2000This paper describes a direct self-control (DSC) scheme for synchronous reluctance motor drives. The presented DSC scheme develops a new torque control methodology that does not require any position transducer to synchronize the stator current vector with the rotor. Such a control strategy differs from the conventional DSC approach in order to fit some

Sensorless brushless DC drive controlled by predictive algorithm
2009 35th Annual Conference of IEEE Industrial Electronics, 2009A digital speed and high resolution position identification algorithm, suitable for brushless DC (BLDC) drives, is presented in the paper. The proposed digital algorithm is synthesized by using the Popov Hyperstability Theory, by means of the current signal samples.

Sensorless Control Techniques of LIMs
2019This chapter deals with sensorless (encoderless) control of linear induction motors (LIM). Starting the analysis of the huge state of the art related to sensorless control of rotating induction motors (RIM), the very few contributions to sensorless control of LIM drives are analysed.

Sensorless control of induction motor
2020ABSTRACT AC drives based on fully digital control have reached the status of a maturing technology in a broad range of applications ranging from the low cost to high performance systems. Continuing research has concentrated on the removal of the sensors measuring the mechanical coordinates (e.g. tachogenerators, encoders) while maintaining the cost and

Sensorless control of IM drives
2019This chapter addresses the fundamental issues of sensorless vector control of induction motor drives. Starting from an historical overview of induction motor control in general, we revisit the two archetypical flux estimators known as the current model and voltage model, as well as their combination into a reduced-order observer. It is demonstrated not

Sensorless speed control of PMSM
2013In this chapter, the authors are interested in the sensorless control for nonsalient permanent-magnet synchronous motors (PMSM). The models of the PMSM and the problem formulation are given in the first section of the chapter. The controller structure and the main result are presented in the second section.
