A New Approach to Visual-Based Sensory System for Navigation into Orange Groves
One of the most important parts of an autonomous robot is to establish the path by which it should navigate in order to successfully achieve its goals. In the case of agricultural robotics, a procedure that determines this desired path can be useful.

Analysis of ESR1 mutations in plasma cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) is highly important for the selection of treatment in patients with breast cancer. Using multiplex‐ddPCR and identical blood draws, we investigated whether circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and cfDNA provide similar or complementary information for ESR1 mutations.

In mammals, the neocortical layout consists of few modality-specific primary sensory areas and a multitude of higher order ones. Abnormal layout of cortical areas may disrupt sensory function and behavior. Developmental genetic mechanisms specify primary

Targeted metabolomics reveals novel diagnostic biomarkers for colorectal cancer
This study employed targeted metabolomic profiling to identify 302 distinct metabolites present in platelet‐rich plasma (PRP), revealing aberrant metabolic profiles amongst individuals diagnosed with colorectal cancer (CRC). Compared to carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and cancer antigen 19‐9 (CA199), our metabolite panel showed improved sensitivity ...

Uncertainty of visual measurement and efficient allocation of sensory resources [PDF]
We review the reasoning underlying two approaches to combination of sensory uncertainties. First approach is noncommittal, making no assumptions about properties of uncertainty or parameters of stimulation. Then we explain the relationship between this approach and the one commonly used in modeling "higher level" aspects of sensory systems, such as in ...

Rawan Atari - The Influence of Multi-Sensory Environment on Physiological Response in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Children with Special Health Care Needs [PDF]
A research study based on the sensory integration theory was conducted to examine the effects of multi-sensory environment (MSE) on physiological arousal in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and special health care needs.
