MGM as a Large‐Scale Pretrained Foundation Model for Microbiome Analyses in Diverse Contexts
Advanced Science, EarlyView. We present the Microbial General Model (MGM), a transformer‐based foundation model pretrained on over 260,000 microbiome samples. MGM learns contextualized microbial representations via self‐supervised language modeling, enabling robust transfer learning, cross‐regional generalization, keystone taxa discovery, and prompt‐guided generation of realistic, Haohong Zhang, Yuli Zhang, Zixin Kang, Jiayun Xiong, Ronghua Yang, Kang Ning +5 morewiley +1 more sourceAlphaviral Capsid Proteins Inhibit Stress Granule Assembly via Competitive RNA Binding With G3BP1
Advanced Science, EarlyView.Stress granules exert antiviral functions. This study illustrates a conserved function of alphaviral capsid proteins in modulating stress granules. Oligomerization mediated by a helical motif coupled with a positively charged intrinsically disordered region (IDR) directly competes with G3BP1 for RNA binding, thereby disrupting G3BP1‐RNA liquid–liquid ...Yun Zhang, Yi Liu, Zhiying Yao, Haolong Lai, Xiaoxin Chen, Ziqiu Wang, Yiqiong Bao, Tingting Li, Xiaoming Zhou, Xiabin Chen, Peiguo Yang +10 morewiley +1 more sourceCytokine‐Engineered Chimeric Antigen Receptor‐T Cell Therapy: How to Balance the Efficacy and Toxicity
Advanced Science, EarlyView.Cytokine‐engineered CAR‐T cells represent a promising immunotherapy against malignancies due to direct tumor killing and potent immunity response. However, significant toxicities, including CRS and ICANS, have restricted clinical applications. How to keep the risk‐benefit balance of the advanced therapy is of great importance for maximizing the benefit Xinru Zhang, Gulizeba Aimaiti, Yuanye Guan, Yuzhe Sha, Wei Zhou, Jiefeng Shen, Bo Zhao, Wei‐En Yuan +7 morewiley +1 more sourceStructure‐Dependent Resonant Frequency Engineering of Textile Tactile Sensors Toward Rapid and Precise Braille Recognition Surpassing Human Sensation
Advanced Science, EarlyView.A resonant frequency engineering strategy is proposed to modulate the sensibility of piezoresistive textile‐based tactile sensor. It achieves simultaneous detection of static pressure and dynamic vibrations across an unprecedented bandwidth of 5–600 Hz, surpassing human sensation, therefore enables rapid and precise braille recognition.Xianhong Zheng, Runrun Zhang, Yu Shi, Zhao Zhang, Guiyang Li, Zhengliang Shang, Xin Liu, Fan Zhao, Sheng Hu, Ran Xu, Shuai Wang, Zhiqi Zhao, Zhi Liu, Lihua Zou, Xu Han, Zongqian Wang, Wei Huang, Gengzhi Sun +17 morewiley +1 more sourceNuclear matter effects on $J/\psi$ production in asymmetric Cu+Au
